Product Information
The Force Turbos' Arctic Cat VCS Bypass Pump Fuel Turbo System is designed specifically for high elevation (5000' and above) on all Arctic Cat C-TEC2 vehicles, including the M8000 and Riot.
This is the high-performance, zero-compromise bypass turbo solution the Arctic Cat platform has been waiting for. Powered by the VCS (Velocity Control System), this system eliminates fuel and air limitations seen in traditional turbo systems. The VCS is able to balance stock air, fuel, and exhaust velocities. The bottom-end and mid-range response is maximized so that it functions similar to a naturally aspirated engine, while adding the top-end power of boost.
With its lightweight design, the Arctic Cat VCS Bypass Pump Fuel Turbo System adds less than 12 pounds.
The installation of the turbo system is simple and doesn’t require any modification of the chassis.
*Stock exhaust pipe MUST be sent to Force Turbos for modification to work with VCS Turbo system. All stock parts that are included in the modification will be returned to the customer. System price includes in-house modifications. Please allow 2 days plus delivery turnaround time. A refundable core charge of $650 can be applied if you prefer shipment of replacement pipe with the system, which will be refunded upon receiving the stock pipe.

Ask a Question
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Do you have to run different fuel or can you run straight pump gas ?
Hello,
You can run straight 91 Pump fuel as long as you know the fuel quality you purchase from the pump. We always start with a 50/50 mix and then cut it down over the first couple of tanks to ensure the fuel quality is up to par for 91 octane pump fuel.
Thank you for the question -
Is the ECU flash all that’s required to have the turbo function correctly with the computer currently in it, or is there other things required? Second, would you recommend getting an upgraded ECU or running stock with the flash? If you think an upgraded one is better, what ECU would you recommend and what would I need to adapt and install it?
We flash the stock ecu with the parameters needed to run the turbo. No extra items are needed. We do not reccomend using any other type of ecu.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- This system will take your snowmobile from approximately 174* crank horsepower to approximately 200 crank horsepower at 5 pounds of boost
TUNING
- Base fuel mapping included through ECU flash
- For diagnostics and tuning AFR and Boost - gauges are recommended.
BOOST LEVEL
- Turbo system comes preset at 4psi.
FUEL CONSIDERATIONS
- Initial tank following turbo system install: 110 race fuel or equivalent
- Boost levels from 3-5lbs: 91 Octane with no more than 10% ethanol
- Anticipate higher octane mixtures required for low elevation systems (from sea level to 3,000 feet)
Depending on boost levels, quality of fuel available, and other factors, the rider can consider experimenting with increased pump fuel ratios as long as you use extreme caution and look for warning signs. Indicators and warning signs to look for ensuring your fuel mixture is in an acceptable range for proper engine operation are: engine detonation, loss of power, above normal engine temperatures, loose or broken spark plugs caused from detonation and general performance problems.
